Star Wars 7’ Has a ‘Rogue One’ Post Credi

While credit cookies, otherwise known as post credit scenes, have been around forever, Marvel has really made them their own. Ever superhero adventure released under Disney has had some sort of teaser or sneak peek at an upcoming Marvel movie attached to end credits. Sometimes even two. Sometimes they're important to the ongoing story, as we saw with Ant-Man's Winter Solider teaser. Or their just funny gags, like Howard the Duck at the end of Guardians of the Galaxy. Now, if a rumor pans out, it sounds like Disney and Lucasfilm will be utilizing the same tactic with their upcoming Star Wars movies, including the new trilogy and spinoffs.
Trusted sources have contacted SchmoesKnow, letting them know that fans should not start exiting the theater once the Star Wars: The Force Awakens end theme blasts out those oh-so familiar John Williams notes that we all love to hum so much. Everyone needs to stay firmly in their seats. Because on December 18th, we're going to get a closer look at the first legacy movie, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story in the form of a post credit scene. It will be a short clip. Of which it's contents have not been revealed

The Hunger Games
There have been so young adult movies based on popular literature in recent years that some audiences might think the so-called “YA” genre is new. Ha! Hollywood history is actually littered with classy (and sometimes crass) adaptation of novels that were either intended for young readers, or gradually became accepted into the “Young Adult” genre as it became codified and popularized in the 1950s. Many of these young adult movies are great, but most can’t hold a candle to the classic young adult movies that have already found a permanent place in the pop culture consciousness.
With the latest of these young adult movies, Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials, hitting theaters on September 18,
we thought now would be a great time to look back on the best films in the genre… many are very recent,
but some are outright timeless.

Initial release: November 19, 2014 (Switzerland)
Director: Francis Lawrence
Featured song: The Hanging Tree
Film series: The Hunger Games
Initial DVD release: March 6, 2015 (USA)
The last movie of the "The Hunger Games" franchise
is to be released this fall and is considered to be one of the most anticipated films of the last quarter of the year."The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2" will be shown in theaters on Nov. 20 this year.
It is the last movie based on the book trilogy penned by Suzanne Collins. According to a survey conducted by Fandango, Variety reports that the finale movie garnered the top spot of being the most anticipated fall movie with 36 percent votes.
This is followed by "Spectre," a James Bond film starring Daniel Craig and "The Martian" starring Matt Damon.

The Inquisitr reports that the "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2" is receving the same level of anticipation as
the final "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2" in 2011. The last Potter film raked in $1.3 billion dollars
but according to Venture Capital Post, "Mockingjay Part 2" will be earning at
least $3 billion dollars as the total earnings for the entire four-part movie franchise.
The reason why the last Mockingjay film is anticipated, Movie News Guide states, is because it will show the final scenes
of Philipp Seymour Hoffman as Plutarch Heavensbee before he died in 2014.

Store About:
The Mockingjay finale also involves a star-studded cast. In addition to Lawrence and Sutherland,
we will see Josh Hutcherson as Peeta Mellark, Liam Hemsworth as Gale Hawthorne, Elizabeth Banks as Effie Trinket, Woody Harrelson as Haymitch Abernathy, Julianne Moore as District 13's President Alma Coin and Stanley Tucci as Caesar Flickerman, among many others in the epic conclusion.
Director Francis Lawrence said that the final "Hunger Games" movie will be action-packed
and will be full of violence and destruction. Majority of the films will also be filmed inside the Capitol.
"This is the most amount of time we've spent in the Capitol. So we had to focus a lot on
how to accomplish that, especially when we spend most of our time out on the street," said director
Lawrence via Ecumenical News.Production designer Philip Messina also said that the Capitol will be Soviet-era inspired as it will be mostly ravaged by the war with its rebels and revolutionaries.
Witness the final confrontation of Katniss and President Snow in the finale, "Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2" on Nov. 20, 2016.

How  Match  Earning Furious7:
After breaking records in India for biggest Hollywood opening, Vin Diesel, Paul Walker-starrer Fast and Furious 7, has now become the biggest opening of 2015 by raking-in 240.4million dollars at the international box office over the weekend and has overall cashed in 384 million dollars.

The film also had a rocking start with a massive $143.6 million collection in its opening weekend at the US ticket windows.

Directed by James Wan and produced by Neal Moritz and Vin Diesel, the movie is now Universal's biggest opening till date and is the 3rd highest-grossing international opening weekend of all time behind Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part 2 and Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, Deadline.com reported.

Fast and Furious 7 has already outpaced Fast and Furious 6 by about 50percent on international ticket windows. Tracking well ahead of Fast and Furious 6, the latest one is the best opening among all films in the franchise in each territory and, in 25 territories including such key markets as Australia, Brazil, Germany, Italy and Mexico, it is the studio's top opening day ever.

Much as The Dark Knight turned into a memorial for Heath Ledger, audiences flocked to see star Paul Walker in one of his final roles. The actor died in a 2013 car crash at the age of 40 and his work on the film was completed using digital technology and a series of stand-ins. "This is a bittersweet installment in the franchise," said Phil Contrino, vice president and chief analyst at BoxOffice.com. "[Walker's] passing made this movie more intriguing for people who hadn't seen some of the installments. It raised awareness and its success is a tribute to him."

Universal Pictures spared no expense in bringing the latest chapter in the fast cars and gravity-defying-stunts series to the big screen, shelling out $190 million on the production. It unspooled in 4,003 North American theaters, earning $14 million on 365 Imax screens and $11.5 million from premium large format screens. Going into the weekend, most analysts estimated that the film would open in the $115 million range.

India collections :
Fast and Furious broke records in India when the film had a grand opening collection of Rs 12 crore on Thursday, April 2. Earlier,  The Amazing Spider-Man was the biggest Hollywood opener in India. Fast and Furious 7 is giving a tough competition to Friday's release, Sushant Singh Rajput-starrer Detective Byomkesh Bakshy, collecting Rs 23.75 crore in India within two days of its release while the Bollywood film could only churn Rs Rs 8 crore on the ticket windows.

Worldwide collections:
The worldwide numbers were also steroidal. Internationally, the film rolled out across 10,500 screens in 63 territories, earning $240.4 million. "This is the next member of the billion dollar club and that's a rarefied place to be," said Contrino. "This thing is on fire."

With an A CinemaScore and strong reviews, Furious 7 could be one of the few modern blockbusters that hangs on for more than a few weeks. The month of April is lean on blockbuster fare and Furious 7 won't get serious competition until The Avengers: Age of Ultron debuts on May 1.

The opening weekend crowd was impressively diverse, a testament to a series that has drawn strength from its multi-cultural cast. The audience was 51% male, 44% under age 25, 37% Hispanic, 25% Caucasian, 24% African-American and 10% Asian. "We're expanding our audience based on the diversity of interest from different ethnic groups all buying into saga of Dom Toretto and his family," said Nick Carpou, Universal's president of domestic distribution, referencing the character played by Vin Diesel.

Last weekend's box office champion, DreamWorks Animation's Home, showed impressive stamina, falling less than 50%. The animated tale picked up $27.4 million in its sophomore frame, pushing its domestic total to $95.6 million. In third place, R-rated comedy Get Hard earned $12.9 million. The Will Ferrell and Kevin Hart team-up fell 62% from its opening number, bringing its stateside haul to $57 million.

Cinderella snagged a fourth place finish, picking up $10.3 million stateside to push its domestic bounty to $167.3 million. Globally, the Disney release is closing in on $400 million. The Divergent Series: Insurgent rounded out the weekend top five, nabbing $10 million and driving the film to $103.4 million domestically.
Among art house releases, Noah Baumbach's While We're Young expanded from four to 34 theaters, picking up $492,976. The A24 release has earned $791,450 in two weeks.

Radius-TWC's It Follows also continued to expand, moving from 1,218 to 1,655, though its gross dipped 35% to $2.5 million. The critically adored horror film has made $8.5 million since debuting on March 13. The Weinstein Company was particularly bullish on the reception for Woman in Gold, a drama about the fight to recover art stolen by the Nazis. The film picked up $2 million from 258 locations and will expand to between 800 and 1,000 venues this coming weekend. "The film is definitely poised for a long, long run. That's a really solid start," said Erik Lomis, the studio's distribution chief.

Thanks to Furious 7, the overall box office reached $218 million, the first time that ticket sales have crossed $200 million over the Easter weekend. "These huge results jump start momentum for the blockbuster, summer season, suggesting that 2015 is shaping up to be everything (and maybe even more) that the industry has been hoping for," said Greg Foster, CEO of Imax Entertainment.

Critical reception:

Limitless received generally positive reviews from film critics. Review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes reports that 70% of critics gave the film a positive review based on 186 reviews, with an average score of 6.4/10. The site's consensus states: "Although its script is uneven, Neil Burger directs Limitless with plenty of visual panache, and Bradley Cooper makes for a charismatic star."[13] At Metacritic, which assigns a weighted average score to reviews from mainstream critics, the film received a score of 59 out of 100, based on 37 critics, indicating indicating "mixed or average reviews".
Roger Ebert of the Chicago Sun-Times gave the film 2 and 1/2 stars and said it was "not terrifically good, but the premise is intriguing" and also stated that director Neil Burger uses "inventive visual effects." Lastly he said, "Limitless only uses 15, maybe 20 percent of its brain. Still, that's more than a lot of movies do."
Kirk Honeycutt of The Hollywood Reporter wrote, "Limitless should be so much smarter than it is," believing that it took conventional plot turns and stuck closely to genre elements like Russian gangsters and Wall Street crooks. Honeycutt reserved praise for Cooper, Abbie Cornish, and Anna Friel. He also commended cinematographer Jo Willems' camerawork and Patrizia von Brandenstein's production design in the film's array of locales.
Variety‍ 's Robert Koehler called Limitless a "propulsive, unexpectedly funny thriller". Koehler wrote, "What makes the film so entertaining is its willingness to go far out, with transgressive touches and mind-bending images that take zoom and fish-eye shots to a new technical level, as the pill enables Eddie to experience astonishing new degrees of clarity, perception and energy." He said of Cooper's performance, "Going from grungy to ultra-suave with a corresponding shift in attitude, Cooper shows off his range in a film he dominates from start to finish. The result is classic Hollywood star magnetism, engaging auds [audiences] physically and vocally, as his narration proves to be a crucial element of the pic's humor." The critic also positively compared Willems' cinematography to the style in Déjà Vu (2006) and commended the tempo set by the film's editors Naomi Geraghtyand Tracy Adams and by composer Paul Leonard-Morgan.[17]Limitless received the award for Best Thriller at the 2011 Scream Awards and was nominated for Best Science Fiction Film at the 2012 Saturn Awards, but lost to Rise of the Planet of the Apes.[18][19]

Themes and inspirations

Main article: Themes in Avatar
Avatar is primarily an action-adventure journey of self-discovery, in the context of imperialism and deep ecology. Cameron said his inspiration was "every single science fiction book I read as a kid", and that he was particularly striving to update the style of Edgar Rice Burroughs's John Carter series and the deep jungles of Pandora were visualized from Disney's 37th animated film, Tarzan.[38] He acknowledged that Avatar shares themes with the films At Play in the Fields of the LordThe Emerald Forest, and Princess Mononoke, which feature clashes between cultures and civilizations, and with Dances with Wolves, where a battered soldier finds himself drawn to the culture he was initially fighting against.
In a 2007 interview with Time magazine, Cameron was asked about the meaning of the term Avatar, to which he replied, "It's an incarnation of one of the Hindu gods taking a flesh form. In this film what that means is that the human technology in the future is capable of injecting a human's intelligence into a remotely located body, a biological body."[12]
Jake's avatar and Neytiri. One of the inspirations for the look of the Na'vi came from a dream that Cameron's mother had told him about.[67]
The look of the Na'vi – the humanoids indigenous to Pandora – was inspired by a dream that Cameron's mother had, long before he started work on Avatar. In her dream, she saw a blue-skinned woman 12 feet (4 m) tall, which he thought was "kind of a cool image".Also he said, "I just like blue. It's a good color ... plus, there's a connection to the Hindu deities, which I like conceptually." He included similar creatures in his first screenplay (written in 1976 or 1977), which featured a planet with a native population of "gorgeous" tall blue aliens. The Na'vi were based on them.
For the love story between characters Jake and Neytiri, Cameron applied a star-crossed love theme, and acknowledged its similarity to the pairing of Jack and Rose from his film Titanic. An interviewer stated, "Both couples come from radically different cultures that are contemptuous of their relationship and are forced to choose sides between the competing communities."[72] Cameron felt that whether or not the Jake and Neytiri love story would be perceived as believable partially hinged on the physical attractiveness of Neytiri's alien appearance, which was developed by considering her appeal to the all-male crew of artists.[73] Though Cameron felt Jake and Neytiri do not fall in love right away, their portrayers (Worthington and Saldana) felt the characters do. Cameron said the two actors "had a great chemistry" during filming.[72]
